Getting Our Dahlia Field Ready for the Season
The excitement of dahlia season is just around the corner, and we’re hard at work preparing our Long Island fields for another beautiful year of blooms. From clearing rows and amending the soil to planting tubers and setting up support netting, every step helps ensure healthy, vibrant dahlias throughout the season.
This year, we’d love for you to be part of the process! Join us for our Volunteer Day every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Whether you have gardening experience or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, there’s a place for everyone to lend a hand and learn more about how locally grown flowers are cultivated.
As a thank you, every volunteer will receive a chance to earn a FREE Dahlia Bouquet Voucher to redeem during the blooming season.
